So when I knew I was going to New Delhi, I did my research and watched all the haul videos on YouTube to get a glimpse of the market and the kind of stuff they sell and I got so excited for my India trip! I made my way to Sarojini on the very first day of my India trip - you can tell just how excited I was. I had my money and tote bag ready to conquer the market. Sadly, I could not spend much time in the market - due to the heat and time (I had so many places I wanted to check out within that 1 day in Delhi). Nevertheless, I still got a few items from Sarojini Nagar.
As soon as I entered, I bought these Indian traditional earrings for 60 rupees.
Soon after, i spotted these pretty printed palazzo pants in a store. There were all these colours and prints and each pair was just 200 rupees, I decided to get 2. They're so comfy, Now, I really wish I got more though.
Next, I stopped at a random street vendor selling sunglasses. Knock offs basically. I got five pairs of sunglasses as gifts for my friends from this stall. They were priced at just 150 rupees per pair - what a steal, even my friends agree.
Silver mirrored aviators (I kept these for myself 'cos I really liked it + mirrored sunnies are really in right now)
Yellow mirrored aviators - Shay Mitchell has the same pair!
Classic Aviators (Got it in dark & light blue)
Tortoise shell wayfarers
Time check, it was about 12:15pm by then and the Delhi heat was getting overwhelming - enough to make me randomly visit random air-conditioned stores in the market. Somehow, I made it to the famous graffiti lane that supposedly has the best stuff and bought myself this American Eagle dress for 250 rupees which comes around $5.
I really looked around for more good hunts - dresses, tops, kimonos were on my list but I didn't manage to find any. I guess that's for the next time. Someone please bring me to Sarojini Nagar!!!
Tumblr-worthy, isn't it?
