Wow, time really does fly. If only I could fly too.
A lot has happened in this one year.
- Restarted this blog/started updating it again
After starting this in September 2013, I only got serious about it and started taking time out to really update this space in August 2014 - Viewership went up, started getting fan mail/good feedback
With the serious updating came a following. I wouldn't say fan following 'cos it's more of interested or happy readers who can relate. But the feeling is definitely amazing when someone mails or tweets you good feedback. It makes me feel like people are actually reading my stuff. Of course there's site stats, etc but knowing people read and take the time to tell you that is special <3 - Completed another year of studies.
As another year comes to an end, I'm another year closer to completing education and moving on to work life. To be honest, I still feel 18 and can't stand the thought that I've grown this old already but life keeps moving, doesn't it? - Learnt to differentiate between fake and real people and embrace the true ones
As I have mentioned before on this space, there are numerous numbers of artificial people in Business School - maybe the competitive environment just brings about the character but with that, my hatred for life grew. Started questioning myself with questions like - "why do such people exist?", "why can't we all be genuinely nice/bitchy/whatever you are". WHY IS EVERYTHING A COMPETITION? SO DONE. But at least I learnt to differentiate between such people and somewhat learnt to accept that it's just how life is. Somewhat. - Rekindled old friendships
They say high school friends are the friends that will stand by you always and this year, I got in contact with some of the friendships from high school once again. All-girls-school girls can relate to each other on a whole other level, that they can't with "normal girls". - Became closer to some and moved further away from some
With the realization of who the real friends are and who aren't, I have distanced myself from the ones that don't matter. There is no place for toxic people in my life. - Learnt a handful of life lessons
Not perfect to never repeat my mistakes again but I have definitely learnt a lot and will remember them. - Stalked celebrities
can't believe I almost left this out but 2014 was the year I met the youtubers. By met, I mean stalked them outside the hotel they were staying in for hours while they were sneakily going in and out in their tinted windowed Mercedes vans. Damn you troyler. You can read about that in my Youtubers in real life post.
Overall, it's been a year with more downs than ups and I'm really hoping for and working towards a much better 2015.
Another post on 2015 goals coming soon!
