YouTubers IN REAL LIFE

It's been months since the YouTube Fanfest was held in Singapore. I've been contemplating on whether to do a post on this and I finally decided to. You know what they say, better late than never.

I just realised after deciding to write this post and while preparing for it, that I lost most of the pictures I took on that day (INCLUDING SELFIES UGGHHHH) but anyhow, i'm still going to write this post.

So, 22 May 2014, was the Thursday, two days before the event, the various YouTubers started flying in and me being the huge fan of YouTube, of course, skipped a lesson or two to head down to town to spot them (Singapore is pretty small, aka as the little red dot on the Globe, which explains why it'd be easier to spot celebs, especially at town area).

First YT I met was Lilly Singh (more popularly referred to as IISuperwomanII). She was literally the nicest and most down to earth YouTuber out of all them that came on this trip, hands down. Firstly, after that long flight, she left for sightseeing on the very same day and then when she came back to find fans outside her hotel, she patiently interacted and took selfies with each one of them.

Then, next we met Bethany Mota (also referred to as Macbarbie07). She was really sweet and seemed pumped to meet her fans. Although she did not meet each one, she did hug few and gave out autographs.

23 May 2014, I returned to meet my OTP of all time, TROYLER. I mean, who doesn't ship them? And, I actually do think they're dating irl. Explains why they're always spotted together, whether in Australia or the States.

Anyway, second day under their hotel and I got to see and take selfies with the one and only Ryan Higa (aka nigahiga). Another very humble and funny AND GOOD LOOKING (he was wearing a muscle tank and some jeans and those muscles were clearly exposed. HOT MUCH.)  We never get to see his muscles in videos 'cos he's usually wearing hoodies butmeeting him in real life was definitely an eye opener. I was not subscribed to him previously but that very night, I subscribed to all his channels as soon as I got home. We also got free merch (#HAPPYGIRL).

And lastly, I got to meet Tyler Oakley and Troye Sivan, the American Drinking Expert and Australian Bombshell. They are pretty darn perfect in real life. I managed to have a conversation with Tyler Oakley but soon after, actually seconds after, they were both ushered back into the hotel because the crowd was getting unruly so that's all I got to see of Troye but all I can say is that Troye is even more perfect irl.
